About Shipamax

Shipamax developed AI-based document processing software for freight forwarders and logistics companies. Its platform was designed to extract information from unstructured files such as PDFs, scanned documents, images, and email attachments, then convert those details into machine-readable operational data. The software addressed a common logistics challenge: moving shipment and trade information from documents into business systems without repeated manual entry. Shipamax focused on automating the full operational workflow, beyond simply recognizing text on a page. Extracted data could be used to create and manage freight forwarding and customs brokerage jobs, process accounts payable invoices, and support other repetitive back-office tasks. Its browser-based tools helped logistics teams process incoming documents, reduce rekeying, and gain visibility into work moving through operational processes. WiseTech Global acquired Shipamax in November 2022, with plans to integrate its capabilities into the CargoWise logistics execution software ecosystem. Shipamax is therefore an acquired logistics technology business and its capabilities now form part of WiseTech’s broader digital document and workflow automation work. Its technology is associated with freight forwarding automation, AI document processing, customs brokerage workflows, and logistics data entry automation.
